Smart transmitters for Indigo probes
The Vaisala Indigo500 series transmitters are host devices for Vaisala Indigo-compatible, stand-alone smart probes. The Indigo500 series includes the Indigo520 and Indigo510 transmitters . Transmitters can include touchscreen displays made of chemically strengthened (IK08) glass, ideal for local data visualization. Non-display transmitters also available. The transmitters extend the options for measurement probe connectivity, supply voltage, and wiring. Rugged IP66- and NEMA4-rated metal enclosures ensure reliable performance even in the harshest conditions.
Display for easy data evaluation and visualization
The touchscreen display provides easy configuration capabilities, local data visualization, and simple diagnostic data. Perform maintenance work in the field while inspecting process conditions. Analyze historical data from the trend view and use the event log to examine process failures. Local data storage in the transmitter is useful in cases where automation systems don’t archive data.
Versatile connectivity, power and wiring optionsIndigo transmitters are host devices for Vaisala Indigo-compatible, stand-alone smart probes. The transmitters have both analog and digital output channels, configurable relay options, and Ethernet connection. Power options include protected extra-low voltage (PELV), main power, and power over Ethernet (PoE). All the Indigo probes can be connected to any of the Indigo transmitters and changed without interrupting the process, reducing downtime. Transmitters with wiring headers inside the enclosure tolerate extreme conditions and eliminate the need for additional field boxes for interconnection.
One transmitter for all parameters
Whether you measure humidity, temperature, dew point, moisture in oil, carbon dioxide, barometric pressure, or vaporized hydrogen peroxide, the Indigo500 transmitters are a cost-effective solution. Simply change the probes to change the measured conditions. To ensure accurate measurements, probes are easy to switch and send for calibration.
One or two probes simultaneously
The Indigo510 transmitter provides single-probe measurement, the Indigo520 enables simultaneous dual-probe support. The Indigo520 also has four analog outputs, which allows more signals to be transmitted. The Indigo-probes have been designed for ease-of-use. For example, probes use standard cables and feature an indicator light that shows when the probe is powered on.
Plug-and-play for fast installation
Indigo-compatible probes are easy to attach, ensuring fast deployment. Probes can be attached to transmitters directly or by using a connection cable that allows up to 30 meters between the probe and the transmitter. A standard cable can be used for longer distances between transmitter and probe.
